Dustin Washington is the director of the cross-cultural youth leadership program for the AFSC (American Friends Service Committee). He works to raise awareness about racial profiling, militarism, and police brutality. He also does work with YUIR (Youth Undoing Institutionalized Racism) and recently won the 2001 Fellowship of Reconciliation Martin Luther King Award.
Bert Sacks is a retired engineer who has traveled to Iraq nine times to deliver medical supplies in violation of the economic sanctions. He was recently given a $10,000 fine by the US Treasury Department for violating the sanctions. The money was raised in donations, but instead was used to deliver more supplies for Iraqis.
Vivian Sharples is an internationally known peace activist. She is acclaimed for her leadership in war tax resistance and the anti-nuclear struggle. Sharples is a co-founder of the Nonviolent Action Community of Cascadia.
